Day Two: second verse better than the first?

Yay! A successful day 2!

I dragged myself out of bed and managed to go out for another run!

It was a bit misty, but not raining enough for me to justify staying inside (un)fortunately :D

This run was a wee bit longer than yesterday's, clocking in at about 20-23 minutes. I don't know more precisely than that because I did not have my trusty BB in my hand. I decided to forgo my security blanket and run the risk of falling down and having no one to call! I'm a daredevil, what can I say! So, because my ipod's clock isn't as easily visible as it is on my bb, my sense of time is somewhat off.

I feel that I ran more than I did yesterday - it could be because there seemed to be more people and more traffic out and about, which prompted me to run longer because, well, other people! Despite the fact that this may make me seem crazy - whatever works, right?

And! it rained on me briefly, but did I turn tail and scurry back home? No I did not! I toughed it out! I am a trooper!

Lessons learned:
  1. I should not try to make breakfast and write this blog at the same time. It results in burned eggs. I actually learned this yesterday, but apparently not well enough since I almost did it again this morning!
  2. Writing this blog is making me late for work. Shh.
  3. I am both daredevil AND trooper. Jealous?

Questions raised:
  1. Are pushups against the wall effective?
  2. How much longer can I continue writing a blog about my running escapades?
  3. When will I be able to run for even 30 minutes without wanting to die?
That is all!

  1. You're a "trouper" not a trooper. Coincidentally enough, I just learned this fact 2 days ago. I always assumed it was trooper, but it's a theatre reference.

Trouper -- a person who deals with and persists through difficulty or hardship without complaint.

Clearly more so than me because I agreed to go jogging with you this morning, then jammed out at the last minute. Tomorrow, I promise!

  2. Hooray for day 2! ;)

    1. probably not so much. maybe try doing push-ups on your knees and if that doesn't work, do them against stairs ;p

    2. Hopefully for months to come ;)

    3. Hopefully sooner than later :p
